All participating teams will automatically be considered for the

Pallas Ludens Endoscopic Vision Award

sponsored by PALLAS LUDENS (http://pallas-ludens.com). For this sub-challenge, two awards are announced:

Instrument Segmentation Award

To be considered for the Instrument Segmentation Award participation in the instrument segmentation for rigid and robotic instruments is necessary. To determine the best perfoming team, the DICE coefficient between the reference and the submitted result of the whole instrument is used.

Instrument Tracking Award

To be considered for the Instrument Tracking Award participation in the instrument tracking for rigid and robotic instruments is necessary. To determine the best perfoming team, the Euclidean distance between the reference center point of the end of the shaft and the submitted result is used.
